Taking Pride In My Work

Had this visual pun kicking around in my head for a few days. I needed to free up some valuable space inside my brain what with the final major project at college coming up, so I decided to get it down on paper. Enjoy!

And Then There Were Badges...

Here is the first badge set of the previous patterns. I'm thinking of doing a further five designs so that they can be made available in little packets of four badges, or individually.

My partner in creative crime, Owen Davey, has recently been preparing for an exhibition of his work in Falmouth. Some of the new things he's been doing included repeating patterns. His were rather fantastic and inspired me to embark upon a journey of pattern making myself. These are three I put together today which I'm pleased with and they'll soon be available in the guise of an A5 print and maybe even a badge set if you're lucky.

Thought I'd put up some snaps of a project I recently finished. I put a lot of thought into it and I'm proud of the finished article. Hopefully it'll set me apart from other applicants in the competitive world of design.

Hello, welcome to my first post on my blog! I had no idea how to start the first entry so, as this is a design and illustration blog, I thought I would begin with a drawing for a poster I'm working on about collective nouns. The collective noun for Tigers, if anyone is interested, is an Ambush.
